Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass, blue-gray tint; aluminosilicate, borosilicate; stainless steel; mold-blown by machine, pressed; a) cylindrical shaped pot; rim machine finished with pinched lip; rounded shoulder; body of pot cylindrical with depressed channel around the circumference about one-third of the way down from the rim; metal band in channel; handle opposite lip, is vertical with threaded top and octagonal bottom, attached to pot by metal band and screw; flat circular base with Pyrex ® Flameware logo molded into center; b) circular cover; rectangular flange, ends of flange flare out to cover; cover slightly domed; cylindrical insert on underside, "C-FF" and "78C" molded into insert exterior; insert has two semi-circular tabs, one opposite the other; four raised bumps within a raised scallop edged ring in center of underside; "PYREX" molded into one side and "MADE IN U.S.A." molded into opposite side of underside near insert.
