Physical DescriptionColorless, green, yellow, brown glass; blown, fused, ground and assembled; raku fired ceramic, wire, acorn. Body of vessel resembles a cocoon and is made up of multicolored canes and colorless glass. The canes run horizontally around the entire body of the piece. The colorless portions appear to have been ground. At one end of the vessel is an opening with a small stopper made of ceramic, part of an acorn, and copper wire. The cylindrical feet of the vessel (what appear as wheels) are made of raku fired ceramic with bits of fused red and yellow glass. Each has a wire through its center with green glass beads at each end.Provenance
