Physical DescriptionTransparent dull yellow over opaque white and transparent yellowish brown. Blown, cased; relief-cut. Fragment from wall of vessel (TTh. 0.35–0.4 cm) apparently with two broad, flattened sides and two narrow, rounded sides. Decoration in relief in yellow (Th. 0.05–0.1 cm), with white (Th. 0.1 cm) scarcely visible: on rounded side, small tear-shaped motif with circular depression at widest point and incised details; on one flat side, unidentified animal with small head, large eye with countersunk pupil, open mouth, and one ear or horn; narrow neck; straight back; and small part of shoulder. Outlines are notched, and neck and body are embellished with shallow circular depressions. Traces of two other elements exist near animal’s mouth and above its back. On second, vestigial flat side, mirror image of horn and part of snout, and of adjacent element.
