Physical DescriptionTranslucent amber or yellow-brown glass, slightly bubbly with much strain cracking, some pitting on surface, thick white weathering crust breaking away to reveal bright patches of iridescence; cast and lathe-polished. Rim rounded by grinding, thick wall bends down into rounded shallow form, deep lathe-cut groove 1 cm. below rim on interior below a wider (5 mm.) groove, concentric lathe-cut polishing marks evident under weathering product on interior; slightly flattened base highlighted by two concentric lathe-cut grooves on exterior (diam. 4 and 5 cm., respectively).
