Physical DescriptionOpaque very dark purple, appearing black in reflected light (matrix);opaque white, brown, deep purple, and bluish green (inlay). Cast, inlaid, and ground and polished. Fragment of vessel or tile: flat, with smooth upper or inner surface and uneven lower or outer surface. Upper/inner surface has part of inlaid human figure: proper right side of white face seen from front; eye has purple pupil, with curved brown lines above and below; nose and mouth have brown outlines; indistinct white and green elements may be proper right shoulder and possibly part of cloak.Provenance
