Physical DescriptionTranslucent deep blue glass matrix surrounding opaque white spirals, translucent aquamarine and opaque light blue elements, some surface pitting and brown weathering crust; mosaic or millefiori technique. Rounded rim, finished with applied trail of blue spirally wound with an opaque white trail, wall bends in and down forming a concave side before bending in sharply to form a flat bottom. Three irregular chips of translucent aquamarine backed with opaque white float in the interior design and one small chip of opaque light blue and white floats at the rim; the interior surface has been rotary ground and polished while the exterior appears to be fire polished.Provenance
