Physical DescriptionPersian Vase. Bubbly glass, aquamarine; molded for body pattern and shaped by manipulation; conical beehive-shaped body with indistinct pattern of molded bands composed of faint ribs above a slipper-shaped motif, and at bottom a row of bead-like ends of broad vertical ribs tapering and extending on base to rough pontil mark; short neck flaring to plain rim and with heavy ring or collar applied about 1/2" (1.3 cm) above base of neck.
