Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, oil paint. Rectangle; half- length portrait of a gray-haired Washington wearing a gold and blue uniform with epaulets, lace collar and cuffs, a red ribbon with a gold medal on his chest; he holds a gold sword hilt and a white paper or handkerchief; he is seated in a green upholstered chair against a blue-green background. The image area is outlined in black with a wide white margin falling out the panel; the title is in gray script against the white margin at bottom center.
