Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; cast. (a) Long rectangular panel with relief decoration of a scene containing three female figures in classical drapery, two seated on a bench, one playing a lyre and the other listening with head resting on her right hand; a third figure is kneeling at the end of the bench beneath a tree; inscription beneath figures: "SHE SANG SWEET MUSIC"; three vases in foreground and sailing ship in low relief in background; satin finish front and sides, polished back; signed in mold: " 40". (b&c) Two polished stands.
