Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut, overlay, enameled, gilt. (a) Compressed globular body; flat rim, polished rim; gilt; ground for a stopper; panel-cut, cylindrical neck; sloping, panel-cut shoulders, with bands of step cutting below; oval opaque white panel on the side, with gilt, cut rim; brown enamel decoration on the white panel, of an oriental woman, holding a small bowl in one hand, a single chopstick (?) in the other, leaning on a high table, a vase in the corner, a four-legged incense burner under the table; a chair at the woman's right; the remainder of the sides covered with fine cut diamonds; band of radial cut grooves around the bottom; polished, concave base. (b) Flat top; cut, gilt rim; circular, slightly domed field of cut diamonds in the center; polished, tapered shank, with polished, flat end.
