Physical DescriptionWine Decanter with Pewter Mounts. Colorless, presumably non-lead glass; free-blown and engraved, pewter mounts. Flattened ovoid body, slender cylindrical neck spreading slightly at plain rim with tiny lip, flaring circular foot, rough pontil mark; applied broad strap handle attached below rim and at shoulder in long end with curled tip; engraved decoration: on wide sides, stylized double floral-quatrefoil and, on ends, vertical spray of leaves and flower. Pewter mounts: hinged cover on mouth, and wide sloping rim on foot.
