Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, enameled; cast pewter mounts. Cylindrical, slightly barrel-shaped with black enamel decoration on the sides of a man, wearing coat, breeches and long boots, holding a hat in his outstretched right hand; stylized plants on either side, with large flowering plants near the handle; looped line below; applied flat strap handle; flared foot rim with pewter rim; rough pontil mark on the underside of the base; domed pewter cover with two rows of large beading on the side, engraved "G.F." on top; beaded and ribbed thumb latch; hinged, and attached to the handle.Provenance
