Physical DescriptionOpaque medium blue glass, minute bubbles, broken with rim, handle and part of foot missing, applied trails of opaque white, opaque yellow and opaque turquoise glass; core-formed, trail decorated and tooled. Rim missing, long cylindrical neck preserves trace of white glass trail left in relief at upper edge, the preserved surface decorated with twenty-nine alternating trails white and turquoise broken into four registers by three applied trails of yellow glass; trails marvered into surface and dragged up toward rim nine times; wall spreads out into a squat globular body decorated with a similar pattern of thirteen applied trails of white and turquoise highlighted by yellow; all have been marvered in and dragged up forming a festooned pattern with seven loops pulled up onto the shoulder; the indentation of the tool on the shoulder is often evident; base of handle, 1.5 cm. wide, formed of cobalt blue flattened trail is preserved on shoulder; the body has had glass added to the lower section, it was tooled to form a short spreading stem with a rounded pad-shaped foot.Provenance
