Physical DescriptionPale green non-lead glass; blown. Two pear-shaped bubbles, with everted, flat rims, joined at the rims, and held together with wrapped thread and red sealing wax; the bases of each section with rounded kicks and (presumably) rough pontil marks; held in a wooden frame, composed of two circular plates, with two concentric pairs of turned rings on the outside, spaced with four slightly bulbous turned rods and one flat slat, each running through the top and bottom wood plates; a wad of paper inserted under one end of the hour glass.
