Physical DescriptionPitcher. Almost colorless, but with yellowish green tinge; transparent blue. Blown; applied, dragged. Ewer with pear-shaped body. Rim plain, outsplayed, with oval mouth and pointed pouring lip; neck short and narrow; foot in form of shallow disk, with rounded edge and concave underside; pontil mark oval (about 1.6 cm long and 1.3 cm wide. Handle with circular cross section dropped onto wall at greatest diameter, drawn up, bent in and attached to rim, with flattened oval thumb-rest. Decorated with blue trail attached to wall near bottom and wound 11 times around body, terminating just below neck; trail was then dragged upward 12 times to create 12 vertical rows of festoons, which cover almost entire body.
