Physical DescriptionDecanter with Stopper. Clear glass with bubbles; pattern molded and blown-three-mold; quart decanter, ovoid, tapering to concave base, rough pontil mark, cylindrical neck with wide plate mouth, stopper with large ball finial; a heavy cord has been applied spirally to the neck, the decanter has been first patterned in a vertically ribbed mold and then blown in a mold with a G.III-5 pattern (McKearin, American Glass, Pl. 92), stopper of type No. 2, Pl. 114 of American Glass.Provenance
