Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, engraved, gilt. (a) Cylindrical neck, spherical base; two bands of engraved and gilt swags, suspended from bands of engraved and gilt stars alternating with ovals; two applied loop handles on either side; disk foot with rough pontil mark on the underside. (b) Baluster finial, applied to a disk pad; dome shape with rounded flange, inset, tapered rim; engraved and gilt foliate band; engraved and gilt stars.Provenance
