Physical DescriptionOpaque white glass bubbly with heavy weathering, trails of amethyst appearing black also weathered but with silver iridescence; core-formed, trail-decorated and tooled. Rim, decorated with heavy amethyst trail left in relief, flares out from almost cylindrical neck which spreads out into an elongated ovoid body, trail of amethyst applied at shoulder and spirals down to base, the body below the shoulder is dragged up and down in a festoon pattern, this action creating deep furrows or ribs at the greatest diameter; two white handles are applied on the shoulder and pulled up and under rim; the vessel terminates in a blunt point with an applied button of white and an amethyst trail around the side.Provenance
