Physical DescriptionColorless, with translucent pale blue, orange and yellow trails; blown; parison decorated with (in this order, on body) trails of pale blue, orange, and yellow; marvered; cased with colorless; inflated to final form; stuck up on pontil; decorated with blue trail on rim; finished at furnace. Vase: egg-shape body. Rim thickened, with flat top and rounded outer edge decorated with pale blue trail; short cylindrical neck; wall bulges and then curves in rather sharply at bottom; base plain, slightly concave, with large pontil mark. Body decorated with broad, marvered, pale blue trail which begins on upper part of body, descends almost vertically, continues under base, and ascends opposite side of wall, ending at same height as it began; broad orange trail, also marvered, which varies considerably in width, occupies similar position, beginning and ending half way between extremities of blue trail; broad, roughly horizontal, yellow trail, again marvered, runs continuously around upper part of body, concealing ends of blue and orange trails.Provenance
