Physical DescriptionVase. Colorless, translucent cobalt and aqua non-lead glasses; metallic gold; blown, pick up cane and gold leaf decoration slightly iridized, tooled. Teardrop-shaped bottle with overall vertical stripe decorate of aqua and blue cane on colorless background, overall gold mottling and dimpled surface texture; one side of asymmetrical opening has been pulled-up while hot forming point, other side pulled downward forming pouring lip; elongated neck, swollen body, narrow flattened base; rough pontil; circular foil paper label on pontil: red background, gold block letters: "A.V.E.M./MADE/IN/ITALY/MURANO".Provenance
