Physical DescriptionPitcher. Transparent deep blue; minute bubbles. Blown (body blown in mold with two parts); applied. Pitcher with octagonal conical body. Rim plain, with rounded lip; neck shaped like funnel, with straight, tapering side; body has eight straight sides, which splay from bottom of neck to near bottom of wall, then curve down and in, with two indented mold seams on axis perpendicular to axis of handle; base is applied pad with concave underside; pontil mark irregular. Handle with circular cross section dropped onto lower wall, drawn up and out and in, and attached to rim and top of neck; near attachment, pinched thumb-rest.
