Physical DescriptionColorless. Blown; relief-cut. Goblet with truncated conical bowl. Wall straight and tapering until it meets horizontal flange, below which it curves down and in. Relief-cut decoration on wall: continuous frieze bordered at top by horizontal raised rib and at bottom by flange. Frieze contains three birds outlined in relief and shown in profile, walking toward left. Each bird has small circular head with pointed beak, eye represented by dot, and horizontal crest that is as long as body; head and body are separated by raised line; body has plump breast and prominent arched back, and it merges with downward-pointing tail; very small wing is folded across top of back; legs are placed one in front of the other and have feet with two claws. Outlines do not have notches, but bodies are decorated with small circular depressions.
