Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut, engraved, and scratch-engraved. Tall round-funnel bowl, with engraved and cut pendant bouquet of barley and hops with leaves, tied with a ribbon, with diamond-point scratched details on the hops fruit and leaves, with engraved and partly-polished flying insects at either side; cut oval and polygonal facets at the base of the bowl, merging into diamond facets on the stem; tall, facet-cut stem with central angular knop; conical foot; rough pontil mark; scratched "BATE" on the underside of the foot; inscribed "264 P" (now rubbed) in yellow paint on the pontil mark.
