Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, enameled, gilded. (a) Slightly tapering cylindrical shape, with enameled yellow band entwined with foliate swags at the rim, crowned coat of arms (Poland and Saxony) inscribed "F.A.R.P." above (for "Fridericus Augustus Rex Poloniae"), similar foliate swag at the bottom; trailed foot rim decorated with a band of repeated sets of three white enamel dashes alternating with gilding (mostly worn off); kick with rough pontil mark. (b) Domed shape with folded brim enameled with a band of sets of white dots alternating with sets of yellow dots, a yellow and foliate swag band (matching that on a.) around the cover; double-tiered finial decorated with band of white dots; rough pontil mark.
