Physical DescriptionTransparent light green non-lead glass; mold-blown, enameled. (a) Tall, large, cylindrical form, with molded bulbous ring at the base; enameled band of colorful coats of arms at the top and bottom, with slanted ribbons identifying the arms, between; large black eagle with chain and coat of arms, crown above; inscribed above in red and white "Das neue/deutsche Reich/mit seinen/Gliedern"; on the reverse, a stylized ship under sail, with billowing foliate below, inscribed "Georg/Bulbe/18/88"; signed in script "H Sch." in the lower band of armorial shield, below the band inscribed "Gsh. Sachsen"; enameled white dots at the top rim and below the lower band of shields; enameled white hearts and red or yellow dots, on the ring; flat base; two rectangular tan paper labels, the top with printed ship in black and inscribed in ink "182" (?). (b) Double-domed form, with enameled scrollwork, swags, dots, and slanted stripes; hollow, multi-knopped finial, ending in a knob with overlapping enameled yellow-green leaves.
