Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, enameled, gilded. (a) Slightly tapered cylindrical shape; enameled yellow bands at bottom and top, with intertwined foliate swags; crowned monogram "AR" (for "Augustus Rex") flanked by cornucopias of fruit and foliage; trailed foot ring decorated with sets of white dashes alternating with gilding; slight kick with rough pontil mark; inscribed in sepia, script "GTo" (?); (b) domed shape with enameled decoration matching that on (a); double-tiered finial, gilded, and with bands of white dots; small rough pontil mark.
