Physical DescriptionBeaker. Translucent deep blue. Blown; foot-ring applied; rim finished at glory hole; gilded, enameled. Beaker. Rim funnel-shaped, with plain, rounded lip; straight, slightly tapering wall; trailed foot-ring; base has small conical kick; pontil mark. Gilded and enameled decoration (now mostly lost) included, on wall, broad band of at least five horizontal rows of contiguous hexagons, each containing star. Hexagons outlined in enamel: vertical lines appear to be white, lines slanting downward to right appear to be red, and lines slanting downward to left may be green. Stars gilded, each with six points made from three lines crossing at center.Provenance
