Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; pressed, cut; molded, encased sulphide. Tapered, straight-sided bowl, with panel-molded sides, waisted near the rounded base; oval cut convex panel on the side enclosing a molded white ceramic (sulphide) half-length portrait of a woman, holding a skull in her left hand; a rectangular panel below, inscribed in blue script "Ste magdeleine", with shells at either side, scrolls below; paneled, waisted stem, flared hexagonal paneled foot, concave beneath, polished flat rim.Provenance
