Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; mold-blown, cut; molded, encased sulphide. Cylindrical, straight-sided shape, with plain rim, panel-molded sides; octagonal, cut, convex panel on the side, enclosing a molded white ceramic (sulphide) half-length figure of a woman, holding a skull in her left hand; rectangular panel below, inscribed in blue script "Ste madeleine.", with shell ends and scroll supports; octagonal base, concave center, polished flat rim.
