Physical DescriptionOpaque white non-lead glass; blown, enameled, gilt. (a) Cylindrical shape with slightly incurved rim; gilt rim; elaborate polychrome enamel decoration on the side of a man and woman in a garden, with elaborate pink, yellow and red rococo wall and seat behind them, with trees, foliage and flowers; stylized buildings at one side; two floral sprays at either side of the handle; applied flat strap handle; flared foot; rough pontil mark on the underside of the base. (b) Domed shape with rounded rim and inset brim; three polychrome enamel floral sprays; applied fig-shape pink-enameled finial; rough pontil mark on interior.Provenance
