Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Bucket bowl with rounded base; engraved inscription below the rim: "IAGEN ' AVF ' GRVNER ' HEYT ' BRINGT ' LVST ' VND ' FREIDT"; long, round- ended panel, below, with engraved scene of a mounted hunter carrying a rifle, following a dog, which is pursuing a stag toward a net; on the reverse, an oval panel with seven polished reducing lenses; oval cut facets at base of the bowl; complex stem consisting of mereses above a flattened knop with cut oval facets, three mereses, a hollow ball knop with all-over hexagonal faceting, two mereses, a quatrefoil ribbed knop, a merese, and a short capstan; circular foot with engraved wreath of flowers and foliage; rough pontil mark.Provenance
