Physical DescriptionGreenish blue, transparent glass; blown, wheel-cut. Bottle: cylindrical. Rim has vertical "collar" made by folding out, down, and up; neck short, cylindrical, splaying toward bottom then narrowing; shoulder slopes, with rounded profile; wall straight, tapering, and curving in at bottom; base slightly convex; no pontil mark. Wheel-cut decoration on neck, shoulder and wall, consisting of horizontal, polished grooves, arranged singly and in groups: (from top to bottom) on neck, one groove just below midpoint; on shoulder, pair of narrow grooves and group of three grooves (narrow, broad, narrow); on wall, single broad groove, group of three narrow grooves alternating with two broad grooves, single broad groove, group of three grooves (narrow, broad, narrow), and pair of narrow grooves.Provenance
