Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, gilt. Bell-shaped bowl; gilt band at the rim, and two narrow gilt lines below; elaborate gilt scrolls and foliage in a wide band on the side; cut rounded panels at the base of the bowl, outlined at the top with gilding; octagonal, panel-cut stem, with angular knop at top, over a waisted section and angular knop, an ovoid knop, an angular knop, and waisted section at the base; with gilt bands and scrolls; stepped, panel-cut, octagonal foot with gilt scrolls and rims; polished large concave pontil mark.Provenance
