Physical DescriptionFlute Glass. Colorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Tall, tapered bowl with engraved border of flowers and leaves; side decorated with a large crowned coat of arms (of Poland and Saxony) supported by crowned eagles, inscribed "F.A.R.P.E.S" in a ribbon above, with flags and arms amassed below; cut flutes alternating with vertical rows of cut circular facets, outlined with matte arches; stem composed of two mereses above a facet-cut ball knop, a merese, and a waisted section; circular foot with engraved floral and foliate border on the upper surface; rough pontil mark.
