Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, engraved. Thick-walled, bell-shaped bowl, with panel-cut sides; raised rectangular panel with cut corners on the front, with three engraved motifs, on clouds of a serpent intwining a staff beside a cup, a cornucopia of flowers, and a guitar with music on the front; inscribed below "Gesundheit, Gluck u. Froh linn/sei stets Dein Begleiter"; oval panel on the reverse, inscribed gothic letters J.F./F.K./ 1831."; panel- and diamond-faceted knop; panel-cut hexagonal stem with flared, panel-cut top, flaring into a triangular foot with concave sides and rounded ends; polished flat bottom with polished concave pontil mark.
