Physical DescriptionColorless with translucent blue, violet and white non-lead glasses; blown, cased, acid-etched. Tapered cylinder with elongated neck; thick-walled vessel of colorless rolled in translucent white, light blue and violet giving an overall mottled effect, cased again in thick colorless, then again in thin layer of mottled violet; wide opening with thick lip turns into elongated, straight-sided neck flaring out sharply to form shoulder, then turning down abruptly to cylindrical, tapered walls of body; shoulder has been acid-etched in overlapping stylized petals; body acid-etched in relief, with six long bunches of blossoms hanging from the shoulder, alternating bunches in positive and negative patterns; flat base, lightly ground; ground pontil; near base etched in relief in script "Charder", inscribed at base in script "Le Verre Francais", acid-stamped on base in block letters "France/Virigton" with broken circle monogram.
