Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut, engraved, painted or enameled, gilt. Straight-sided bucket bowl with cut arches at the base, with pointed flutes between; engraved and blackened (enamel or paint) double-headed eagle, with gilt crowns, scepter and orb; engraved floral and foliate sprigs at either side; the reverse with engraved and gilt monogram "HA/II" in a crowned circular frame flanked by martial trophies of pikes and flags; the base of the bowl containing an air bubble; cut flutes at the base of the bowl; hollow stem composed of a faceted flattened ball knop, above a faceted inverted baluster with basal ball knop; flattened disk above a domed foot; polished pontil mark; printed blue-on-silver circular label inscribed "SAMMLUNG/KRUG".
