Physical DescriptionPreserving Jar with Cap. Aquamarine, opaque white non-lead glass; mold-blown, pressed. (a) Barrel shape; with ground lip, screw threads on neck, mold seam on each side; obverse embossed: "MASON'S/PATENT/NOV 30TH/ 1858"; base embossed: "PAT NOV 26 67" in a circle around "133". (b) Zinc cap with pressed opaque white glass liner, embossed: "BOYD'S GENUINE PORCELAIN LINED" around a Hero cross lettered HFJ Co. in arms.
