Physical DescriptionAquamarine glass; mold-blown in a full-size mold. Flattened ovoid form; plain cylindrical neck, vertically ribbed edges; pontil mark; obverse: bust portrait of Washington in uniform facing left, inscribed "GENERAL WASHINGTON" around his head; reverse: eagle with shield on breast standing on an oval, inscribed "T.W.D." and "E. PLURIBUS UNUM" above eagle's head; shoulder inscribed "KENSINGTON GLASS WORKS PHILADELPHIA" and "ADAMS & JEFFERSON July 4 AD 1776".
