Physical DescriptionPreserving Jar with Cap and Ring. Aquamarine, opaque white non-lead glasses; mold-blown, pressed. Barrel shape; with ground lip, screw threads on neck, mold seam on each side, obverse embossed: "MASON'S/PATENT/NOV 30TH/1858"; base embossed "PAT NOV 26 67" in a circle around "5"; rubber sealing ring; zinc cap with illegible inscription on top, opaque white glass liner embossed: "BOYD'S GENUINE PORCELAIN LINED" around a Hero cross with HFJ Co. lettering in arms.
