Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle with Stopper Spoon. Transparent and translucent amethyst glass; blown, cut. (a) Flat, tall polygonal form, of transparent amethyst glass with translucent amethyst splotches; with short cylindrical neck, flat polished top and opening for stopper and spoon; polished flat faces, with chamfered facets at the sides; polished panels on the sides; polished rectangular base. (b) Domed circular button of amethyst-colored stone; mounted on a black disk; tapered cork shank; long ivory spoon, with slender handle and pointed oval spatulate bowl.
