Physical DescriptionPurple, green, charcoal gray, flesh tone glass; cut, fabricated, with metal ring. Irregular pylon-box shape. (a) Central hexahedral mass composed of nine layers of flat glass of differing colors with large circular hole drilled through center of each sheet surmounts smaller sheet of mirrored glass in turn attached to larger purple platform or sheet with crenellated underside; one strip of green glass, crenellated edge facing out, with half disks of purple glass at each end, is attached to each of the two opposing narrower sides of central mass; stopper fits into central hole. (b) Stopper; three-quarter purple disk vertically surmounts horizontal full disk composed of seven bands of alternating colors of flat glass bound by metal ring; the whole attached to flat sheet of alternating purple and black bands, with beveled edges; horizontal purple disk attached to underside of this flat sheet.
