Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; pressed, cut; molded, encased sulphide. Tapered, circular shape, with straight sides molded in eight rectangular panels below a recessed rim; one side with a cut pentagonal raised panel incorporating a molded white ceramic (sulphide) medallion depicting a standing female figure, draped, with her hand on the shoulder of a standing nude child, holding an orb in his right hand; with clouds behind, a serpent below; sides with a rounded projecting ledge near the base, paneled below; octagonal, paneled, spreading foot, concave underneath; foot rim polished flat.Provenance
