Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; pressed, cut; molded, encased sulphide. Panel-molded, circular bowl; upper parts of the panels with raised oval panels; one with a pentagonal raised panel with cut edges, enclosing a molded ceramic (sulphide) depicting a robed, standing woman in clouds, with her left hand resting on the shoulder of a partially-draped child, holding an orb in his right hand, standing on a serpent; lower part of the bowl rounded, panel-molded, with raised oval panels; tapered, hexagonal stem; spreading, panel-molded, hexagonal foot, concave underneath, with polished, flat foot rim.Provenance
