Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut; molded, encased sulphide. Cylindrical, straight-sided shape; cut plain rim; cut sides, with a wide band of vertical panels of strawberry diamonds alternating with wide vertical ribs; cut oval double panel on the front, enclosing a molded white sulphide bust portrait of a man in military uniform, facing dexter, impressed on the reverse "A L'ESCALIER/DE CRISTAL/A PARIS"; flat bottom with cut radial panels of strawberry diamonds alternating with radial ribs.
