粉套蓝玻璃花鸟纹鼻烟壶
Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle and Stopper (粉紅套藍玻璃花鳥紋鼻煙壺). Opaque pink, bluish-purple glass, amethyst stone, ivory, cork; blown, cased, cameo-carved. (a) Flattened, rectangular form, with rounded shoulders and sides; bluish-purple overlay on pink; flat, disk-shaped rim, with blue edge; small hole in the center for a stopper; short, waisted neck; the sides with finely cameo-carved growing bushes, with birds perched in the branches, flying, and a stork (?) standing at the base of one; oval "seal" Ji yang on the side; carved oval blue foot rim. (b) Domed amethyst (?) stone cap; tapered cork stopper; slender ivory spoon with pointed spatulate bowl.
