Physical DescriptionBottle. Transparent light yellowish green, with opaque white trail. Blown; applied, dragged, marvered. Bottle: bell-shaped. Rim plain, with flattened top; neck tapers and is narrow at bottom; shoulder rounded; wall straight, splaying, and curving in at bottom; base plain, with slightly concave underside; pontil mark circular (D. 0.9 cm). Neck and wall decorated from top to bottom with single trail attached at bottom of wall, wound about 10 times around wall and neck, and cast off just below rim; then dragged up four times and down eight times to produce feathered pattern, which is fairly regular on wall, but stretched and deformed on neck; each pair of downward strokes is separated by two upward strokes.Provenance
