Physical DescriptionColorless lead glass; blown, cut; enameled, stamped, encrusted metal foil. Tapered, straight-sided shape, with polished rim, cut vertical panels on the sides; cut convex octagonal panel on the side, encasing an enameled silver-colored metal (platinum ?) foil medal of the Legion of Honor, with five white arms, foliage wreath behind; circular medallion at the center, with a gold center stamped with a male head facing sinister, against a rayed background, encircled by a blue band inscribed in gold "HENRI IV", with a silver crown above, suspended from a dark red ribbon; waisted, panel-cut stem; diamond-faceted, polygonal foot; polished concavity underneath, with polished flat rim.
