Physical DescriptionSnuff Bottle and Stopper. Colorless and opaque bright yellow glasses, yellow plastic, cork; blown, cased, acid-etched. (a) Flattened, ovoid form; yellow overlay on colorless; short, stubby neck with flared rim, polished flat on top, the opening ground, the rim with a narrow yellow band; the faces ground, with acid-etched stylized butterfly on one face and stylized foliage on the reverse; the narrow sides carved into bulbous profile; striated yellow oval pad foot, polished flat on the underside; (b) domed form, of yellow plastic, with flat underside; cork attachment with white ivory (or plastic?) spoon, with long, straight stem, and tiny oval end.
