Physical DescriptionColorless non-lead glass; blown, cut, gilt, engraved, enameled, "jeweled". (a) Tall, tapered form; flared rim, polygonally faceted; ground for a stopper; the rim and upper part of the neck gilt; spreading, panel-cut neck; slightly rounded sides with engraved arches of tiny vertical ovals alternating with tiny floral sprigs, with bead swags; decorated with translucent puce enamel bows, swags and stylized flowers, with raised enamel beads of yellow, dark green and light yellow-green; cut flutes at the base; polished, flat bottom with polished concave pontil mark at the center. (b) Flat, oval form; scallop-cut, chamfered, gilt rim; flute-cut faces, running in opposite directions on opposite faces; tapered, rough-ground shank, with rough-ground end.
